Diamond "C" Ranch Horse Rescue

Our hearts go out to those animals that do not get the proper care that they should, therefore we dedicate a large part of our facility and our time to giving them a new home right here at Diamond C Ranch.

Meet Private...he is one the first rescue horses that we took in.  He was on his last leg when we brought him home with us, we really didn't think that he would make the ride home, but...thankfully he did!!  He has turned out to be a great little horse.  He really enjoy's the time he has with all of the children that come by to say hello to him.  Sometimes life is funny...you think that you are doing something to help someone or something out and it turns out that they end up being what you needed to open your heart again.

What should you do if you know a horse that is being mistreated?

Give us a call.  We will help you locate someone close to you that will lend a helping hand to the animal in need.  Or we will take them in if you are in our area.

Who should you contact to report abuse or neglect of horses or other animals?

You should contact your local law enforcement and they will act upon the information that you have given them or they will get you in contact with the proper authorities.

Does Diamond C Ranch take donations?

YES!!  We always welcome a helping hand.  We would be greatful for hay, feed, medications,  volunteers, etc.

Meet Izzy

Izzy is one of our rescue girls that we got because she is blind in both eyes.  She has surprised everyone here on the Ranch due to the fact that she rides like a horse that has two great eyes and has a heart and a will that is unstoppable.

Izzy would love for you to stop by and see her.

How do you adopt a rescue horse?

Fill out our adoption form and email in back to us and someone from Diamond C Ranch will contact you.

How much does it cost to adopt a horse?

Most adoptions fees are around $150.00.

Can you volunteer at the Diamond C Ranch rescue?

Yes!! We love volunteers!

Feel free to come by anytime and help us with our day to day operations.  We welcome young people who are interested in horses to come by and spend some time helping to groom and take care of them.  We feel that it gives the young people a sense of what it would be like to have their own horse and have to care for it on their own.

What is the day camp all about?

We offer a day camp in the summer for children that are beginning to intermediate horse owners or want to become horse owners.

We teach them to be responsible with their horses. We also give them riding lessons and teach them basic first aide treatment for horses.  We also give them the opportunity to play games and have fun with each other and their horses.

Hope to see all of ya'll soon!!
